Eurocom launches 15-inch Racer notebook

Eurocom has announced a new notebook computer that it claims to be the most powerful 15-inch machine on the planet. The new notebook is called the Eurocom Racer and it has some impressive hardware inside the chassis. The machine is expected to start shipping on February 1 2011.

Inside the sleek black chassis is a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution LED backlit screen with glossy or matte surfaces. The machine can be fitted with up to 32GB of RAM and that RAM is DDR3 at 1333/1600MHz. The notebook can be fitted with NVIDIA GeForce or Quadro GPUs and can use AMD GPUs as well.

Processor options include a range of Intel Sandy Bridge offerings in the Core i5 and i7 lines all the way up to the Core i7 2920XM Extreme Edition. The machine can hold dual storage drives with SSD options and has an integrated memory card reader. Other features include dual USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output, eSATA, and more. 802.11n WiFi is optional along with Bluetooth and a 3G modem. Pricing is unannounced at this time.
