Epson announces Low-resolution 4:3 and 16:10 C2Fine D7 panels

Epson's C2Fine technology is not new to the front projector community, they have had the 0.7-inch D7 inorganic HTPS panels available on full HD resolution over a year ago, in fact, most of the 1080P LCD projectors in the market are powered with a trio of the Inorganic panel. Today, they have announced two new models with lower resolution panels in standard 4:3 and widescreen 16:10 aspect ratio that using the same technology.

New members of the D7 c2fine family are the 0.74-inch HTPS panels "L3C07X-85G40" with 1280 × 800 resolution and the "L3Q08X-85G20" 0.8-inch HTPS panels with 1024 × 768 resolution.

The Inorganic D7 panels are well-known for its high temperature endurance with boosted aperture ratios to improve contrast and luminance outputs. Both units are said to be capable of "Jet-black show" (no spec on the contrast ratio), and ultra high luminance beam up to 4000 lumen (widescreen), 5000 lumen (standard) of brightness. Mass production has already begun, and here's a thought; the next 720P projector with twice the Panasonic ax200 capability is not beyond reach.
