Electric Carpet – Not powered by static electricity

It’s still summer here in the US, so we’re not exactly thinking of ways to keep warm. However, if you’re one that likes to think ahead, this new carpet will certainly keep your toes warm.

I’ve always preferred a house with carpeted floors because in the winter hardwood floors tend to make your feet very cold. If you do happen to have hardwood floors, you can get this Electric Carpet from Panasonic that features an ultra-thin heater that can warm up to 114 degrees.

I don’t know about you, but that’s just a bit warm for my taste. Luckily the temperature is adjustable. No word on how much this will cost or when it will be available, but for now it looks as though it’ll only be available in Japan.
