Dying Light's March update to bring 'Hard Mode'

Dying Light, the zombie survival game that has only just recently been released, is set to get an update in March, and with that update the entire thing will be taken up a notch: Hard Mode is inbound. This comes after some gamers have finished the game, and are looking to start again in an apocalypse world that's a bit harder the second time around. The feature will be part of a free update that any Dying Light gamer can grab.

The announcement was made recently by Tymon Smektala, Techland producer: "A few gamers have already finished Dying Light and are asking for more. So we're going to give our community a new challenge that will put everything they learnt in the game to the test. Hard Mode is exactly that."

The content update's Hard Mode will strip down the number of supplies available to gamers, and will also make them act with more stealth in order to survive. Zombies will become harder to beat, and the difficulty when in night mode will also increase. What exactly that entails is yet to be seen.

This follows the recent "Cuisine & Cargo" DLC release, which arrived on February 10 for gamers on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Techland had said it would be releasing a couple more DLCs by this upcoming May, and fortunately we didn't have to wait long to find out what the next one would be bringing.
