Dodge outs sexy and powerful Charger Widebody models

Dodge has pulled the wraps off a pair of high performance 2020 Dodge Charger models that both have a very attractive widebody look to them. The cars are the 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody and the 2020 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Widebody. Both of the new widebody models will land at dealerships in early 2020 with the order banks opening this fall.

The SRT Hellcat Widebody has a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V8 that makes 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired up with a TorqueFlite 8HP90 8-speed automatic transmission. The SRT Hellcat Widebody boasts a top speed of 196 mph making it the fastest mass-produced sedan in the world.

Widebody improvements include a 3.5-inch wider body that allows room for new 20x11 inch Carbon Black forged wheels with sticker Pirelli 305/35ZR20 tires. The car also has an SRT-tuned Bilstein 3-mode active damping suspension and electric power steering. Hellcat Widebody also gets stiffer springs, larger sway bars, retuned shocks, Brembo brakes and more. The car promises 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds and a quarter mile in 10.96 seconds.

The 2020 Scat Pack Widebody is powered by a 392 ci Hemi V8 making 485 hp and using an 8HP70 8-speed automatic. It has 3-mode adaptive suspension, standard electric power steering, and a wider body that covers 20x11-inch wheels. The car also has a Brembo brake system, stiffer springs, and larger sway bars. The car has launch control, launch assist, and line lock features.

Dodge says that the 2020 Charger Scat Pack Widebody can reach 60mph in 4.3 seconds and run the quarter mile in 12.4 seconds at 111 mph. Both cars also promise better braking performance than standard Chargers. 2020 Hellcat and Scat Pack Widebody pricing is unannounced.
