Dell UltraSharp 1909W LCD Monitor introduced

Dell just added a new LCD monitor to their current line up. This one is called the UltraSharp 1909W and it offers all the features to suit most people’s viewing preferences. And the best part, is its available now, just in time for the holidays.

The new display measures in at 19-inches and can support a 1440 x 900 resolution. It also has a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 5ms response time. Brightness is said to be 300cd/m2. However, contrast is just 1,000:1. The viewing angle is also rather constricted at 160 degrees.

That being said, there are no shortage of ports on this thing with four USB ports, a DVI port that is HDCP-enabled, and a VGA input. The monitor itself can pivot and tilt on its base and you can adjust the height for optimum viewing. You can even wall mount it. You can get the Dell UltraSharp 1909W LCD Monitor now for $239.
