Dell Gaming 24 and 27 monitors bring overclocked refresh rates, 4K and more

Joining its updated Alienware PCs, Dell has introduced a pair of new gaming monitors, the Dell Monitor 24 and 27. The smaller of the two sports a Full HD resolution, while the larger has a full 4K panel. Both models are part of the new Dell G lineup, targeting gamers specifically with overclocked refresh rates, AMD FreeSync, and more.

The two displays, models S2419HGF and S2719DGF, are said to offer tear-free graphics via the aforementioned AMD FreeSync technology joined by overclocked refresh rates — the 24-inch model offers 144Hz and the 27-inch models offer 155Hz. Dell says both monitors have an input lag of less than 1ms.

Digging into the specs, the 24-inch model has an anti-glare coating with a 3H hardness, 16:9 aspect ratio, 16.7 million colors, 160 / 170-degree viewing angles, LED edgelight, ComfortView, Dell Display Manager, and VESA mount compatibility. This model also features two HDMI 1.4 ports, DisplayPort, USB 3.0 upstream, two USB 3.0 downstream, a headphone jack, and an audio-out jack.

The Dell 27 Gaming Monitor is similar, offering the same viewing angles, brightness, colors, edgelight system, and more. There's the addition of an HDMI 2.0 port, an extra USB 3.0 downstream port, and a USB BC 1.2 charging port. Both models sport what Dell calls a gamer-inspired design complete with a Recon blue metallic finish. The stand is adjustable and thin bezels allow for a multi-display setup.

The Dell Gaming 24 and 27 monitors will be available in both Asia Pacific and North America starting at $319.99 and $549.99 USD on Dell's website.
