COD Black Ops 4: Operation Grand Heist season drops on PS4 tomorrow

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 players will get access to the game's new season "Operation Grand Heist" starting tomorrow, February 19. The game will arrive for PlayStation 4 owners first, later launching also for Xbox One and PC players. Activision gave fans a look at what to expect in a trailer released today, as well as some details about big changes.

The new Black Ops 4 season will bring Ghost Town, a new destination for Blackout that includes underground secrets, a variety of gear and weapons, and more. PlayStation 4 players will get "the biggest vehicle drop to date" on February 22, according to Activision, and a new Blackout game mode that contains what the company teases as "special vehicle variants."

In addition, the upcoming season will add a new Specialist called Outrider, which has been tweaked from its original appearance in BO3. The updated Specialist, who features tactical equipment including a longbow with explosive weapons, will feature a new appearance and abilities. Outrider will be available in both Blackout and Multiplayer.

Zombies fans can expect new various free features, among them being the addition of a new Perk, some mastercraft camos, and a new Gauntlet; Activision says there will be other features, too, but hasn't detailed them.

The new game season will add a number of new items to the Black Market, including the Vendetta Sniper Rifle, Switchblade X9, and Rampage Shotgun, as well as new Mk2 weapons that give players an XP boost, themed camo for weapons, new gestures, additional outfits, and more.

For players who have the Black Ops Pass, Activision says they can expect two new Multiplayer maps called "Casino" and "Lockup," the latter being set in an LA police raid station. An exclusive Dead Ops Arcade character Cosmic Silverback will be available for Blackout, and starting in March, pass owners will also get a new Zombies experience.

Though we know that PS4 players will get access to the new season starting tomorrow, there's no word about when Xbox and PC players will join them– Activision just says these updates are "to follow."
