CES 2007: Plantronics announces new Discovery 665 Bluetooth Headset
The new Discovery 665 Bluetooth headset featuring AudioIQ – the industry's first DSP technology to optimize audio levels for you and the person you're talking to. The AudioIQ clarifies incoming speech and reduces outgoing background noise by up to 50%. Another cool features include Plantronics' new QuickPair technology, which simplifies the Bluetooth setup process for consumer by automatically initiating pairing mode (when powered) if no other device history is present. The headset is ready to go once it's paired successfully; otherwise it shuts off after 10 minutes if the paring was unsuccessful.
The packaging comes with a convenient charging and storage system targeted for use in the car. There are visual call indicator and low battery indicator. It's ultra-light, sophisticated design and customizable eartips for complete wearing comfort.
The Plantronics Discovery 665 will be available for $149.95 (msrp) at major retailers and http://www.plantronics.com in February 2007.
