Bungie’s Destiny gameplay shown off in new video

Bungie is showing off seven full minutes of gameplay from their upcoming Destiny title, an immersive first-person shooter set in a dystopian future. In the video, which you can see below, a co-operative assault takes place in Devil’s Lair, or ‘Old Russia’. The video shows actual in-game graphics, and we must say — it’s impressive.

Smooth throughout, the game also has great shadowing and shading in real-time, with no slowdown or degradation. The use of light is also impressive, especially in various dark environments where trailing gunfire light is seen.

The environment is also wildy immersive, bringing you deep into an old colony ship where “The Fallen” have holed up in resistance. The video shows our heroes buring back the Hive, and conquering The Fallen’s base. Comign soon in Beta form, the game looks as though it’s going to be one to look for when released this fall.

Bungie will be at E3 in June of 2014, and we expect to see more Destiny then. Set to be avaialble for the PlayStation 3 and 4, as well as the Xbox 360 and One, Destiny is coming September 9. If the video below has you wanting to play, you can sign up for their beta program or pre-order via the website.
