Boston Acoustics iDS2 Is Slightly Less Expensive Horizon Duo-I

Boston Acoustics is at it again, this time serving up an all-in-one iPod speaker dock that brings high power and sleek design together in a somewhat affordable package. Acting as a follow up to the Horizon Duo-i, the iDS2 is all speaker.

Just look at it! This iPod speaker dock provides great audio output and is quite packed with features. However, if you're looking for the LCD display or alarm clock functions of the Duo-i, you're not going to find them here. At $180, the iDS2 is just $20 less than the Horizon model. This is a bit of a conundrum, but the speaker is good, nonetheless.

Features include a 60-watt amplifier, dual 3.5" speakers, USB and audio output, composite video output, a metal front grill that can be customized and a infrared remote control. I don't about the price tag, but it looks cool, at least.
