Boost Mobile adds Samsung Galaxy J7, LG and Kyocera phones

Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile are adding a trio of new smartphones, giving prepaid customers more options for no-contract plans. Chief among the new models is the Samsung Galaxy J7, a phone that resembles the other Galaxy devices Samsung has released. Joining it is the LG G Stylo 2, an update to the original phone by the same name. Lowest (and cheapest) on the list is the new Kyocera Hydro REACH, a waterproof smartphone that can be used while wet.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 will be available at Virgin Mobile USA and Boost Mobile starting tomorrow for $299.99 USD. The phone features a large 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 1.4GHz Octa-Core processor, 16GB of storage and 2GB of RAM, a 3,000mAh battery, support for 4G LTE, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The LG G Stylo 2 is a big larger with a 5.7-inch HD IPS display; it also features a Snapdragon 410 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 16GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3,000mAh internal battery, support for 4G LTE, and, finally, Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Finally, there's the Kyocera Hydro REACH, a waterproof budget-tier smartphone that'll cost $99.99 USD starting tomorrow. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, supports 4G LTE, and features a 5-inch qHD display. The rear camera is a 5-megapixel offering, and the front is a slight 2-megapixel camera. Under the hood lies a Snapdragon 1.1GHz quad-core processor.
