BMW makes some of the most popular luxury cars out there along with SUVs as well. The company uses a variety of engines, a recall has now been issued on some cars, and SUVs that use the firms turbocharged eight cylinder and 12 cylinder engines under the hood. The reason for the recall is a reported risk of fire in the engine bay of the vehicles.

The vehicles covered in the recall are 2008-2011 8 and 12 cylinder cars in the 5 Series, 5 Series Gran Turismo, 7 Series, X5, and X6 model lines.
