BioShock 10th Anniversary Collector's Edition includes interactive statue

2K Games has announced some special treats for diehard BioShock fans who want to celebrate the iconic game's 10th anniversary properly. Among other things, this upcoming November will see the release of a BioShock 10th Anniversary Collector's Edition game made available through both 2K and through retailer GameStop. If you really want a copy, though, mind that there's a catch: it'll only be available in the United States.

It's hard to imagine that ten years have passed since the original BioShock release, but that'll be true in just a couple months, and here to usher it in properly is the collector's edition shown below. This game will be available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 through both 2K's online store and through GameStop stores.

With the collector's edition will come a statue measuring 11.9-inches tall with a design modeled after the original release's box artwork. The lights are functional on the statue, as is the motorized drill. The Big Daddy is, of course, joined by a Little Sister which has some audio clips harvested from the game itself. If that doesn't strike your fancy, though, you'll have some other options.

There will be an anniversary sale of the BioShock: The Collection game set, which is remastered for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. The remastered collection includes the DLCs, a documentary, plus some behind-the-scenes content. You'll be able to get the collector's edition starting on November 14. As we reported earlier this month, a remastered version of the game for macOS is also in the pipeline.
