If your geeky little heart is all aflutter at the thought of finally getting the iPhone 4 in the Verizon network you aren’t alone. We posted up our review of the new smartphone yesterday. Verizon and Apple are taking early pre-orders for the device, but most of the unwashed masses will need to wait until the week after those early orders go in to get the new iPhone 4 on Verizon.
Best Buy has announced that it will offer the iPhone 4 on Verizon Wireless on February 10 at normal Best Buy locations and at Best Buy Mobile Stores all around the country. That is the first day the smartphone will be offered to the public. I think most of us are expecting shortages of the device, so good luck getting one. The 16GB Verizon iPhone 4 will sell for $199 and the 32GB will sell for $299.
“The iPhone 4 is an important device for Best Buy and we are excited to help Apple and Verizon Wireless bring it to even more consumers,” said Shawn Score, president of Best Buy Mobile. “Our customers have come to expect Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores to carry the best selection of mobile phones anywhere, and offering the iPhone 4 on Verizon’s network is our latest effort to deliver on that promise.”
