Best Buy Talks December Revenue At CES

Typically, CES is reserved for rolling out new electronics and other gear onto the market. Best Buy did its share of showing off new gear, but the company also took the time to toot its own horn at the show about the money it generated in December.Best Buy reports that it generated $9.5 billion in the five-week period ending on January 3. That is a 13% increase in revenue compared to last year. Best Buy reports that domestic storage sales gain was 9.3%. In 2008, the same five-week period resulted in $7.5 billion.
