Bang & Olufsen launches Artwork by David Lynch speaker collection

Bang & Olufsen has introduced its new David Lynch speaker collection, a lineup of B&O speakers featuring art from the creator. The newly unveiled collection include images from the War Between the Shapes series, says B&O, as well as from the Paris Suite lithographs and paper works by Lynch from the 1970s. This isn't the company's first collaboration with the artist.

"I'm honored to be part of this special collaboration," Lynch told B&O in a statement. The offerings currently include the Beoplay M5, P3, and A9 speakers, each model including things like Lynch's laser engraved or handwritten signatures.

The company plans to make its Beoplay P2 and M5 David Lynch speakers available in limited quantities in some of its stores, plus through some other retailers. The Beoplay M5 will feature the laser engraved signature, plus there will be a total of five Beoplay A9 speakers with a handwritten signature; a single Beosound Shape speaker will also be offered with a handwritten signature.

The Artwork by David Lynch collection Beosound Shape and Beoplay A9 speakers will be made exclusively available from MoMA Design Store, Soho starting October 10 and running through November 11. They'll also be offered at B&O pop-up stores.
