Avengers cast expands with Elizabeth Olsen and Aaaron Taylor-Johnson

If you'd expected the star of American Horror Story to take the part of Quicksilver in the next Avengers movie, you'd best guess again. Instead it's been confirmed today by Marvel that both Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be joining The Avengers in the roles of Scarlet Witch and her twin brother. These characters will make their debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The "Age of Ultron" movie will be released in theaters on the first of May, 2015 – before then there's a whole heck of a lot of other Marvel Comics movies we've got to look forward to. Marvel Studios has announced Captain America: The Winter Soldier on April 4th of 2014 while the first of August will be home to Guardians of the Galaxy. Ant-Man will make his debut on the 31st of July, 2015 as well – he may or may not be in Age of Ultron as it stands.

Taylor-Johnson is an actor you might remember from "Nowhere Boy", "Savages", or the super-hero movie series "Kick-Ass". Elizabeth Olsen appeared first in the 2011 film "Silent House" and went on to appear in "Red Lights" and will soon be on the big-screen once more in the Spike Lee remake of "Oldboy". Oddly enough, these two actors will be appearing together this May 2014 as well in the newest Godzilla film.

This film will also be written and directed by Joss Whedon, of course, and will collect the biggest and baddest of the Avengers characters once again. Expect heavy storyline tie-ins and plotline requirements inside the rest of the Marvel universe releases until then. Keep up!
