Throughout his tenure, he has contributed stories across multiple formats of journalism, including print and online, as well as having appeared on the radio and television, as well as having written for publications across Canada, the U.S., and the U.K. Most recently, Samuel developed expertise as a technology journalist, covering everything from smartphones and gadgets to mobile apps and software, to digital accessibility.

Samuel earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) and a Postgraduate College Certificate in communications from Seneca College.
