  • Amanda has traveled across the Northeastern U.S. photographing abandoned buildings of historical significance, with her work featured in several gallery shows and four books. She's also heavily invested in local historic preservation efforts across New York State and beyond.
  • Amanda still processes her own black-and-white film from home.
  • Coming from a long line of photographers, Amanda has amassed an enormous collection of cameras, lenses, flashes, and darkroom equipment with origins dating back to the 1950s.


In 2012, Amanda leveraged her background in digital and film photography, lighting, and photo editing into another professional interest — writing. With an initial focus on hands-on gear reviews and educational how-tos, Amanda's niche expanded to cover broader topics of consumer technology including smartphones and smart gadgets, gaming, computer systems, and productivity, among other fields beyond tech. She currently works full-time as an editor and content strategist.


Amanda received her bachelor's degree in studio art and photography from Nazareth College of Rochester.
