Apple Watch Edition may be confined to 53 outlets globally

The Apple Watch is coming, just like Winter. Unlike the bitter cold of winter, however, a lot more people are looking forward to it. But it seems that as we inch closer to that glorious hour, more and more of the fine print of the smartwatch's availability are being revealed. Supplies of the Apple Watch might not be able to keep up with the demand, so says Apple itself. If that wasn't bad enough, it seems that the already rare, because expensive, golden Apple Watch Edition might be even more limited, not just in supply but in location as well.

On the one hand, considering the nature of this particular model, it isn't particularly surprising to hear that it won't be found in all Apple retail stores. That said, Apple hasn't clearly disclosed which stores, both in the US and worldwide, would carry the Apple Watch Edition. Perhaps for a bit of protection and crowd control. Nonetheless, those eying this luxurious timepiece will probably want to know beforehand where they should go.

Luckily, the Internet is full of detectives and arduous fans. A list of stores carrying the golden watch has been compiled and it seems that in the US, majority are concentrated on both coasts of the country. With a few exceptions of course. Outside, the watch will be available, also in limited stores, in the UK, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, and Hong Kong. That last one is particularly interesting, since it is claimed that every store in Hong Kong will carry the Apple Watch Edition, and so will 12 out of 19 outlets in mainland China. Perhaps proof of Apple's increasing attempts to woo the nation.

If you're in any way interested in buying or at least seeing this golden Apple Watch, try to check if you are nearby any of the stores below. If not, well, prepare for some traveling, if you're really that interested.
