Anonymous To Donald Trump: 'Total War' Arrives April 1st

April Fools' Day will bring 'total war' against Donald Trump, Anonymous has announced. The collective plans to launch a cyberattack against the candidate, doing so to hamper his presidential bid and what they call a "deeply disturbing" campaign. This isn't the first time Anonymous has targeted Trump, but does promise to be more severe than the last time, aiming to shut down Trump's various websites and reveal private information to the public.

An Anonymous spokesperson made the announcement in a new video (below), citing things like Trump's hate speech and concerns about his bid for presidency. The spokesperson says they have been watching Trump for "a long time" and find him "deeply disturbing." As such, their campaign against him is being renewed and ramped up.

The video goes on to include some clips of Trump saying offensive things, and starts:

Dear Donald Trump, we have been watching you for a long time and what we see is deeply disturbing. Your inconsistent and hateful campaign has not only shocked the United States of America [but] you have shocked the entire planet with your appalling actions and ideas. You say what your audience wants to hear but in reality you don't stand for anything except for your personal greed and power.

This is followed by a call out to hacktivists around the world who want to take part. Says the Anonymous spokesperson:

We need you to shut down his websites, to research and expose what he doesn't want the public to know. We need to dismantle his campaign and sabotage his brand. We are encouraging every able person with a computer to participate in this operation. This is not a warning, this is a declaration of total war. Donald Trump – it is too late to expect us.

Separately, the collective has also posted a list of domains they plan to take down, including TrumpHoteCollection.com and DonaldJTrump.com. As well, the list of websites is joined by some data said to be personal information about Trump, including his Social Security number and phone number.
