Amazon's Transparent Season 1 Trailer Now Available
On September 26, Amazon will be debuting its new original series "Transparent". To get the ball rolling, the Internet retailer has released its trailer for the first season, and amidst the sound of Vance Joy's Mess is Mine playing in the background, we get a pretty solid look at the show.
Maura, played by Jeffrey Tambor of Arrested Development fame, has been known as Mort for most of her life, and the season revolves largely around her getting to live free as who she is for the first time (making the title of the show especially creative).
The family finds out their father's secret, and it causes "everyone to spill their secrets", according to IMDB. The seemingly average suburban family unravels into a complex look at a life that is rarely simple, and by all accounts, it looks to be marvelous.
It's not just the storyline that seems promising, but also the quality of the trailer itself. You'll have to watch the video above to fully appreciate the style choise, and you'll get an idea of how Amazon is approaching the show.
