Amazon offers toolbar for Firefox 3 users

Toolbars are one of those things that can be good or bad. I hate it when some small part of the install of other software adds some strange toolbar to my browser. At the same time toolbars like the Google toolbar are a valuable part of surfing the web for many of us.

Amazon also makes a useful tool bar for those that like to shop online and compare prices online without having to keep the Amazon site open. Amazon has had a toolbar for Internet Explorer for a long time now and the massive etailer has finally offered up a version of the toolbar for Firefox users.

The toolbar offers the features that IE users get like instant Amazon searches, the ability to make wish lists, and the ability to see best sellers, new releases and special deals at Amazon. The toolbar is available for download right now for those running Firefox 3.
