3D print your own custom Halo 5 Spartan

When I play a game for any length of time, I tend to get attached to the character. This only really applies to characters that I've created, named, and customized. If I'm playing a Mario game, I don't care nearly as much as an RPG or an MMO where I've battled foes for the weapons and armor that they wear. Eventually, I'll move onto other games and forget about those characters. But what if you could save them, and display them for all to see? Well, Halo 5 players will be treated to that ability.

Since your character's face is hidden beneath a helmet, you might not think of Halo as a game where customization is king. However, when you've fought enough battles and earned a set of armor you're proud of, you can color it just the way you like. And now if you want, you can print out your very own figure, showing off your custom Spartan.

Over the summer at SDCC and Gamescom, attendees could get a custom-printed Spartan. However, since the game hadn't been released, you weren't printing out your character, with the armor and weapon you'd earned. But starting Friday, you can head over to Halo Waypoint and print out an exact replica of the character you've been fighting with for the last few weeks.

The Halo Waypoint team is working with the people at Sandboxr to create these custom figures. They haven't announced pricing yet, and the figures shown in the video weren't the highest quality, but it would still be a cool thing to have sitting on your shelf.
