2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series Gallery

When Mercedes-AMG builds a new flagship performance car, it doesn't do things by halves. Witness, by way of excellent example, the new 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. Its 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine may not be the largest in the automaker's history, but it's definitely the most powerful AMG V8.

In fact you're looking at 720 horsepower between 6,700 and 6,900 rpm, along with 590 lb-ft of torque from 2,000-6,000 rpm. It's enough for a top-speed of 202 miles per hour, and a 0-60 mph time of just 3.1 seconds. 0-124 mph takes under nine seconds.

Outside, there's plenty of carbon fiber – including the hood, front fenders, roof, and more – and a two-piece rear spoiler with an electric flap. 19-inch/20-inch AMG 10-spoke wheels in matte black are standard, and a new exclusive AMG Magmabeam paint is available. Expect it to hit the road in early 2021.
