2021 Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Edition is a Trail Boss underneath

Chevrolet was in Las Vegas recently for the annual SHOT show and unveiled a new custom package for Chevrolet Silverado buyers. The special limited edition truck is called the 2021 Silverado Realtree Edition. Realtree is a popular line of camouflage items that run the gamut from clothing for hunters to camo print on all sorts of consumer products.

The Silverado Realtree edition is built on the Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss. It's fitted with exclusive graphics from Realtree, and the truck marks the second collaboration between the brands. The last collaboration was in 2016 with the Silverado Realtree Edition.

The Realtree Edition has a 2-inch factory suspension lift, 20-inch black wheels with Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT off-road tires. The truck is also fitted with the Silverado Z71 off-road package. Z71 package components include monotube Rancho shocks, hill descent control, automatic locking rear differential, skid plates, and an AutoTrac 2-speed transfer case.

The standard engine for the truck is a 5.3-liter V8 with a 6-speed automatic. An optional engine is a 6.2-liter V8 that makes 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque with a 10-speed automatic. Realtree camo graphics are on the outside of the truck, at the end of the bed, and on the interior door trim. The Realtree logo is also integrated into the standard bedliner.

Other features include black Silverado and Z71 badging, black exhaust tips, black round assist steps, and all-weather floor liners. Chevrolet says that pricing will be announced closer to production, the truck is set to be in dealerships in summer 2020. The package is essentially a Trial Boss with some graphics, we expect it to be close to the price of the Trail Boss truck.
