2020 Subaru Forester pricing gets official

Subaru has announced the pricing on the 2020 Forester SUV. This is the second year for the fifth-generation Forester, and Subaru promises it offers the most space, capability, and features in the 23-year history of the model. All 2020 Forester models come with Subaru Eyesight Driver Assist Technology.

EyeSight features a lane centering function and Lane Departure Prevention. All 2020 Forester models also come with Rear Seat Reminder that is designed to prevent drivers from leaving kids or pets in the rear seat. The reminder warns the driver to check the rear seat before leaving.

The 2020 Forester will come in five trim levels for 2020 including base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring. The base 2020 Subaru Forester starts at $24,495. All use the same 2.5-liter Boxer engine with 182 hp and 176 pound-feet of torque. All come with the standard Subaru Symmetrical All-wheel Drive system.

Fuel economy is up to 33 mpg on the highway, and the vehicles can tow up to 1,500 pounds. The entry-level Forester has standard 17-inch steel wheels with body-color door handles, and front, rear, and side under guards. Base units can be fitted with 17-inch alloy wheels and roof rails for $600.

Premium trim comes standard with the All-Weather Package with heated front seats, mirrors, and windshield de-icer among other features. Pricing starts at $27,395. The Sport trim starts at $28,995, Limited starts at $31,095 and Touring starts at $34,595. All MSRPs are plus a $1,010 destination and delivery fee.
