2019 Subaru WRX and WRX STI pricing announced

Subaru has announced the pricing for the 2019 WRX and WRX STI models along with new limited production versions that will land. The 2019 WRX will pack a 268hp, 2.0L direct injection turbo Boxer engine, Symmetrical All-wheel drive, and active torque vectoring. The standard transmission is a 6-speed manual with an optional CVT with manual mode.

For 2019 the WRX gets a new infotainment system called the Starlink 6.5" Multimedia Plus system that has Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Aha, Pandora, and Starlink cloud Apps along with Bluetooth. The radio also features a single disc CD player, SiriusXM radio, and a rear vision camera. Pricing is creeping up for the WRX with the standard trim line starting at $27,195.

The WRX Premium starts at $29,495 and has a7.0" multimedia system and all the other features of the base model. Premium lines get 18-inch wheels, heated front seats and windshield wiper de-icer, fog lights, and a power moonroof. All WRX models with the CVT do include EyeSight driver assistance tech.

An optional performance package with Recaro seats, red front and rear brake calipers, special brake pads and no moonroof adds $2,050 and is only offered on 6-speed WRX premium. There will be 750 WRX Premium Series.Gray vehicles offered with 6-speed manual and a cool gray khaki exterior for $32,595. WRX Limited with 6-speed starts at $31,795.

The WRX STI gets a 310 hp 2.5L engine with pricing starting at $36,595. The power bump comes thanks to a new air intake and higher flow exhaust and retuned ECU. WRX STI Series.Gray models are limited to 250 units and have the same cool gray khaki exterior and lots more priced at $39,695.
