2019 Subaru Crosstrek starts at a single Benjamin more than 2018

Subaru has announced the official pricing for the 2019 Crosstrek small SUV. If you feared that prices would grow significantly for 2019 models you are in luck. Pricing of the 2019 Crosstrek starts at only $100 more than the 2018 model with a base 2019 ringing in at $21,895.

Subaru says that the Crosstrek is its third bestselling model in just its third year of production. For 2019 there will be three trim levels for the Crosstrek including the 2.0i base, 2.0i Premium, and the 2.0i Limited. All three models land later this summer at dealers.

Subaru is offering EyeSight Driver Assist Technology on all 2019 Crosstrek trim levels. That EyeSight system includes Pre-Collision Braking and Throttle Management; Adaptive Cruise Control; Lane Departure and Sway Warning; and Lane Keep Assist. All Crosstrek models have the same 2.0L 4-cylinder Boxer engine making 152hp and 145 lb-ft of torque.

Buyers can choose a 6-speed manual transmission, something rare on SUVs and crossovers today, or a CVT with 7-speed manual mode and paddle shifters. Fuel economy ratings for CVT are 27city/33highway/29combined and the manual gets 23/29/25 combined.

The Crosstrek has all-wheel drive and 8.7-inches of ground clearance. Base models come with 17-inch wheels with black machine finish, roof rails, and black side cladding. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard. The 2.0i Premium starts at $22,895 with manual transmission and $23,895 with CVT. 2.0i Limited is $27,195 for starters and is offered with a CVT only. EyeSight is an $845 option across the range.
