2019 Nissan Frontier truck starts at $18,990

Mid-size truck shoppers looking for a ride on a budget will want to check out the 2019 Nissan Frontier. Nissan has announced pricing for the truck for 2019 year model and the starting MSRP is unchanged from the 2018 model. A base Frontier S King Cab 4x2 with 5-speed manual starts at $18,990 plus a $995 destination and handling fee.

The 2019 Frontier gets a standard 7.0-inch color audio display touchscreen in S and SV grades and the Cayenne Red Metallic color gets broader availability for 2019. Nissan also notes that the Midnight Edition Package introduced on 2018 models carries over to 2019.

Midnight Edition Package buyers get a gloss black grille, 18-inch gloss black wheels, semi-gloss black step rails, body color front and rear bumpers, and black badges, door handles and outside mirrors. Midnight package is offered on the Crew Cab SV 4x2 and 4x4 models with automatic transmission. It can be had on Magnetic Black, Gun Metallic, and Glacier White body colors.

The base engine carries over as a 152hp inline-4 offered only in King Cab models. The 4.0L V6 making 261hp is standard on all crew cab four doors and in some King cab models. While the base S King Cab starts at $18,990, a top of the line King Cab PRO-4X 4x4 with V6 and automatic transmission will cost you $33,430.

Crew Cab models start with the 4x2 SWB packing the V6 and manual transmission for $24,950. The crew cab range offers LWB version on some models and a top of the line SL Crew Cab SWB V6 with automatic starts at $36,850. All prices are plus the $995 destination and handling fee.
