2019 GMC Yukon Graphite Performance Edition boasts big 6.2L V8

GMC has rolled out the Graphite Editions of its Yukon full-size SUV. The big SUV comes in the normal Graphite Edition and the Graphite Performance Edition. Both vehicles are based on SLT trim and can be had in Yukon or Yukon XL 2wd or 4wd configurations.

Graphite Edition vehicles include 22-inch bright machined wheels with carbon flash metallic pockets, black assist steps with gloss black accents, black chrome grill mesh inserts, and foglamp surrounds, body-color grille surround, black roof rails, gloss black beltline, and other black trim. Opting for the Performance Edition adds some other nice features to the mix. The Performance package includes a 6.2L V8 engine and 10-speed automatic transmission.

The vehicle also gets magnetic ride suspension, gloss black 22-inch wheels, and an active 2-speed transfer case on 4x4 models. A trailer brake control is integrated along with a 170-amp alternator. Standard axle ratio is 3.23 and the ride has a high capacity air cleaner.

One of the cooler features is Bose Active Noise Cancellation. Performance buyers get a multi-color head-up display, 8-inch driver information center, and 8-inch color touch nav screen. The big 6.2L V8 makes 420hp and 460 lb-ft of torque.

GMC is offering Graphite Editions in onyx black, white frost tricoat, and dark sky metallic. The vehicles will launch this summer in the US. GMC is mum on package pricing right now promising pricing details closer to launch.
