Trendnet unveils new 4-port USB 3.0 hub

If you computer is anything like mine you may have a single USB 3.0 port only. That will cramp your style if you want to plug in more than one USB 3.0 HDD for various needs. Thankfully, Trendnet has unveiled a new USB 3.0 hub that has four ports on it called the TU3-H4.

The four USB 3.0 ports provide the same 5Gbps connectivity that your single USB 3.0 port on your computer provides and is ten times faster than the USB 2.0 speeds. The hub ships with the USB 3.0 cable you need to connect the hub to your PC and it will work with USB 2.0 ports as well.

If you lack a USB 3.0 port on your machine at all, Trendnet also offers some add-in cards that will give you USB 3.0 connectivity with a dual port ExpressCard or a dual port PCI Express card for desktops. The new four port TU3-H4 USB 3.0 hub will ship soon at a MSRP of $79.99 making it a very expensive USB hub.
