These devices will undoubtedly be shown in full within a week from today, so the rumors suggest, but until then, here we go. These images join the weeks of rumors and detail leaks from insider sources appearing over the past few months, showing off Samsung's newest set of two devices, one the next-generation Samsung Galaxy S7, the other a combination of two devices next generations: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Canonical has just announced the latest and most high spec'd Ubuntu Phone on its team. Partnering once again with Chinese OEM Meizu, that two have taken the Meizu PRO 5 from last year and turned it into a full-fledged Ubuntu Phone. Ubuntu calls it one of the highest spec phones in the market, which might be true until MWC 2016 next week. However, given recent computing developments and news, it might be Ubuntu's Convergence feature that is the most interesting aspect of the OS. Unfortunately, on this phone that feature is a bit unclear.

With MWC 2016 fast approaching, some companies are busy preparing their big reveals. Some, however, are very early birds, getting things out of the way quickly. Days before the congress, French OEM Archos is unveiling its latest roster of mobile devices for its "high end" Oxygen brand. Of course, given Archos' specialty, high end here means decent wallet friendly Android smartphones and tablets. That said, the three new Marshmallow-powered Oxygen tablets and the Lollipop-toting 50d Oxygen smartphone could still give other mid-range devices a run for their money.

Based on recent leaks and official announcements, LG has a lot to showcase at MWC 2016 next week. Ironically, one of the perhaps most interesting product it has won't actually get any stage time at all. Korean media are reporting that LG officials revealed that LG Pay, the company's upcoming mobile payment system, won't actually be unveiled and demonstrated at the event. The reason, at least say the officials, isn't because the product is going to be delayed but because they want to give more focus on the LG G5 instead.

It might not be too far-fetched to say that Samsung has a unique spot in the market when it comes to stylus-toting phablets. That, however, isn't going to stop LG from coming up with its own. In fact, at MWC 2016 next week, it will be putting up on display the LG Stylus 2. While LG has definitely leveled up its game for this particular device, the Stylus 2 remains what its predecessor clearly was: a mid-range, and hopefully affordable, smartphone equipped with a stylus with a somewhat rubbery tip.
