Kevin Lee - Mar 1, 2006

Sharp ammounced it has made a clamshell 3G handset with a VGA display, the highest resolution so far for any phone. The VGA screen is pretty good with a 480 pixel width. The phone could also support landscape mode for making web pages more readable without rearranging its contents.

In addition to its high-res screen, the 904SH includes a Motion Control Sensor that can detect the phone’s posture in all directions, a face recognition system for security, and a 3.2-megapixel camera. This phone will appear in Japan’s Vodafone network.
