Samsung SyncMaster Has High Contrast Of 10,000:1 Rating

I have been holding off getting a multipurpose LCD display for both pc and movies. Looks like Samsung delivers my dream machine today at Macworld Conference & Expo. The SyncMaster 2693HM and 2493HM features full 1080p (1920 x 1200, 16:10 aspect ratio), built-in speakers, D-Sub,HDMI & DVI inputs, 400cd in brightness, 1000:1 native contrast, 5ms GTG response time make it suitable for entertainment and multimedia. The 25.5" 2693HM has an MSRP of $699 with dynamic contrast of 3000:1 while the 24" 2493HM model is selling for an MSRP of $599 but got a huge boost of 10000:1 dynamic contrast.. Both features a 3 years a three-year limited warranty on labor and parts, including the backlight.
