Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector’s Box loot detailed

Rockstar Games has revealed the special and ultimate editions of Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as its Collector’s Box cache. The latter will be made available as an exclusive item for “select retailers,” as well as through the Rockstar Warehouse. The cache features a red box resembling a storage crate, as well as an assortment of goodies.

The RDR2 Collector’s Box features a total of ten different sets of items, the box itself being one of them. In it, buyers get a Collectable Challenge Coin, which features an American Buffalo, as well as a double-sided pistol, six shooter bandana, treasure map, a Wheeler, Rawson and Co. catalogue, and 12 cigarette cards.

Those 12 cigarette cards feature illustrations of things from the Red Dead Redemption 2 world, as well as one card from each set. As well, the Collector’s Box has a pin set containing a total of six individual pins, each representing weapons from the game. Rockstar says those weapons include a revolver, shotgun, and the Dead Eye X marker. Those pins are included in a canvas carrying bag.

Buyers also get a set of playing cards designed to commemorate the Van der Linde gang of outlaws. The company says its playing cards are fully illustrated and feature key members of the gang, among them being Dutch van der Linde. Meanwhile, the aforementioned treasure map is made from unrippable paper and leads players to the location of buried treasure in the RDR2 world.

The Collector’s Box aside, Rockstar has also revealed its Special Edition, which features some Story Mode exclusive content, plus the physical map, and the Ultimate Edition, which builds on the Special Edition by adding rank bonuses, more weapons, a Black Chest Thoroughbred horse, and more outfits.

The company has started accepting preorders for the various goods. Head over to the Rockstar Warehouse, where the Collector’s Box is $99.99 USD.
