Quirky Pivot Power Makes Power Strips Look Strangely Good [Video]

Power strips are good things. They can be downright lifesavers if you've only got two wall outlets, and you need to plug in your 10 gadgets. But, sometimes they can be just too bulky, and if you've got a cramped space, they don't do much for your space requirements. Well, there's always imaginative people out there, and thanks to a company called Quirky, we get to see the Pivot Power in action.

The Pivot Power is your general power strip, but it has one main difference: it's flexible. Basically, the designers made it so that each individual outlet could be rotated, and therefore repositioned to fit your needs, based on your requirements. As you watch the video, you can see how it would certainly help, but we'll be the first to admit that there's definitely some positions you could put the Pivot Power in that wouldn't actually save space at all. But, you'd obviously have to adjust to what suits you best.

The company doesn't have any Pivot Powers up for sale right now, but they are taking pre-orders. But, unless they reach their 960 order goal, they won't be manufacturing any for retail release.
