Polk Audio 4 Shot Headset for Xbox One lands March 6
There are a lot of gamers out there that only play games wearing headphones. Headphones often let you hear more nuances of the sound in your favorite games than TV speakers or home theater systems allow. Some FPS gamers swear you can hear enemies behind you with the right headset. My ears have never been that good.
If you are an Xbox One gamer that is looking for a new headset Polk Audio has announced the official launch date for its 4 Shot Xbox One Gaming Headset. That official launch date is March 6.
Polk says that its 4 Shot Headset will be the first Xbox One compatible headset to hit store shelves. The headset was developed with help from 343 Industries and Turn 10 studios. Those are the developers behind the Halo and Forza Motorsport franchises.
Polk says the headphones are optimized for immersive audio. Connectivity with the console is wireless. Polk's 4 shot headphones do connect to the Wireless Xbox One controller and feature a retractable near-field mic allowing you to chat in games and it can be used to make calls on your phone. The 4 Shot Headset will cost $159.95 and come in black, white, or blue colors.
