Pokemon GO Glaceon and Leafeon evolution method leaked

Eevee is one of the wildcards of Pokemon. Starting out as a Normal type that can barely do anything, you can make it become any element you want, if you know how to do it. While that's not much of a problem in the normal Pokemon games, Pokemon GO is a totally different beast. Now thanks to a new leak, we're getting some idea how two of Eevee's evolutions will be possible before the Pokemon even land in the game.

In the official lore, Eevee can be evolved into its different elemental types in different ways. The first three involved exposing them to certain stones while later games employed different methods, like taking them out only at certain times of the day (or night) or bringing them to an area when leveling them up.

Pokemon GO changed that for Flareon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Umbreon, and Espeon. Those evolve just depending on the name you gave them. Would that be the same for Eeevee's remaining evolutions? Apparently not.

A leak posted by Chrales reveals that something a bit closer to the game will be used. New Lure Modules will be introduced to the game and two of them, namely the Glacial Lure Module and the Mossy Lure Module, could have a chance to evolve Eevee into Glaceon and Leafeon, respectively. Of course, those could be used to evolve other Pokemon as well.

It's not yet known when or how these items will arrive in-game, whether it will be through shops or rewards. Eevee fans will probably be impatiently waiting for this update now that the Meowth's out of the bag.
