Pint-size Vader from Super Bowl VW commercial unmasked
It never ceases to amaze me that 364 days of the year I skip the commercials on my DVR as if they were the plague. When the Super Bowl comes around, I actually want to watch the commercials more than the game if the Cowboys don't make it, which is sadly generally the case. Last night there were some cool commercials during the game and two that stuck out for me were the pug kicking down the door to get Doritos and the little Darth Vader trying the Force on everything.
That pint-size Darth Vader has been unmasked as one Max Page, a 6-year-old heart patient. The boy was unveiled as Vader by Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. Apparently, Max is quite an actor despite his young age and has been in "The Young and the Restless" already.
The little guy was born with a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot and has a pacemaker. Max's docs say the he has a very good prognosis and that he will have a full life expectation and be able to do normal activity with proper care. May the Force be with you Max.
