Pentax Optio Z10 and S10

Pentax has blessed us all with two more digital cameras. Each with its own intended audience in the digital photography world.

The Z10 is an eight megapixel digital camera that uses a refraction lens system to offer up a 7x optical zoom without the traditional telescopic lens. There is also face recognition and a sliding lens cover that doubles as the on/off switch.

The S10 is a 10 megapixel camera with a telescopic optical zoom. So, it offers up two more megapixels, and Divx certification. That means that you can record videos, supposedly on par with some camcorders, straight to Divx.

They are both dated for September and will both sell for $250, so it really just depends on what you look for in a camera, I personally am considering going after the Z10. The S10 is going to be a Wal-Mart exclusive.
