Microsoft Unleashes XNA Game Studio Express Beta

If you've ever wanted to generate code for a full-fledged gaming console, but didn't feel like hacking or modding your expensive machine in order for said code to run, Microsoft has a solution for you. Their recently-announced XNA Game Studio Express, the free version of the XNA Game Studio development program, is available now for download in a beta form. Currently absent is the XNA Framework Content Pipeline, but it should be added to the Express edition at a later date.
