Marvel Studios announces Disney+ originals She-Hulk and Moon Knight

At the D23 Expo in California, Marvel Studios announced that it will be bringing new shows to the upcoming Disney+ streaming service, including She-Hulk and Moon Knight. The confirmation comes only hours after a leak revealed that Marvel will also be creating a Ms. Marvel show for Disney's streaming service, adding a total of three new originals onto the already substantial content plans.

The last major superhero created by Stan Lee, She-Hulk, will be arriving on Disney+ after its launch in November, Marvel's president Kevin Feige revealed during the company's panel at the D23 Expo. Feige also revealed plans to create an original Moon Knight show and essentially confirmed a report from earlier today claiming Disney+ will be home to an original Ms. Marvel series.

Marvel character Jennifer Walters got her hulkish powers after receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner, also known as The Hulk. In her powered state, She-Hulk avoids the Hulk rage familiar to her cousin but enjoys a green shade and super strength.

In addition, Disney+ will be the exclusive streaming home for Moon Knight, a series featuring the relatively unknown superhero by the same name. This character made its debut in the comic Werewolf by Night #32 and remains part of the Marvel Universe.

As reported earlier today by The Hollywood Reporter, Feige said that Marvel Studios will create a Ms. Marvel series for Disney+, but didn't elaborate on it. Marvel hasn't provided any details about its planned She-Hulk or Moon Knight shows, either, but more information may arrive in coming days.
