Lepow Mod Bluetooth speaker heads to CES 2014

Lepow makes mobile device accessories running the gamut from cases and external batteries to Bluetooth speakers. The company has announced that it will be trotting out its latest Bluetooth speaker at CES 2014 next week. The new Bluetooth speaker is called the Lepow Mod.

The Mod is an interesting design that doesn’t look like most other speakers on the market. The design reminds me a bit of Mr. Crabs from SpongeBob Squarepants. The company says that the mod has a modern design and uses metal construction.

The Mod speaker measures 9.5″ x 4″ x 5.5″ and is designed to give 360-degree audio output so it sounds good from just about anywhere in a room. The mod has four sound modes including normal, rock, classic, and vocals.

The Bluetooth speaker has a wireless range of 30 feet. The speaker also has an integrated microphone allowing it to be used as a speakerphone. It can also act as an external battery charger for most devices thanks to its internal 6000 mAh battery. That means it can keep your device charged while playing music away from an outlet. The Mod will ship in Q1 2014 at an undisclosed price in several colors.
