Lenovo Flex 11 Chromebook Arrives With Durable Design And 360-Degree Hinge
Lenovo has announced the new Flex 11, a 2-in-1 Chromebook with a 360-degree hinge that allows the display to fold all the way back or at any angle in-between. This particular model, as its name suggests, sports an 11.6-inch display, as well as a durable design thanks to its drop-resistant construction. According to Lenovo, this Chromebook can handle accidental drink spills, drops from heights up to 2.4ft, and more.
Despite its budget-friendly price, the Lenovo Flex 11 brings a lot to the table, at least as far as Chromebooks are concerned. Joining the durable design is multi-touch support and a 2.10Ghz quad-core ARM processor under the hood. Following in line with other recently-launched notebooks, the Flex 11 also utilizes USB-C.
Lenovo says users can expect up to 10 hours of battery life per charge, as well as an array of ports that will meet many users' needs. There's HDMI for video, USB 3.0, a combination microphone/audio jack, and an SD card slot, as well as the USB-C port for both peripherals and charging.
As we'd expect from a small Chromebook of this caliber, Lenovo says the Flex 11 has a weight that comes in under 3lbs, making this a suitable choice for travelers and those who are frequently out and about. Other features include anti-glare to keep display glares to a minimum, as well as the promise of wide viewing angles.
The Lenovo Flex 11 Chromebook will be available starting this month at $279 USD.
