Grand Theft Auto V update will fix graphics quality issue

If you're an Xbox One or PlayStation 4 owner and you've recently updated Grand Theft Auto V with Title Update 1.08, you've likely noticed a problem that has managed to catch Rockstar Games' attention: the graphics quality took a nose dive, and the enjoyability of gameplay went with it. Gamers have been complaining about this issue, and today Rockstar announced that it has set its sights on the problem. There's no fix yet, but one is being looked into, and as you'd expect, gamers will be given an update about when it is available.

Rockstar Games addressed the issue on its Support website today, saying that it is "aware of some graphical issues on the Xbox One and PS4 version of GTAV after the most recent Title Update", and that it is looking into how to fix it.

That's all it has to say at this point, except that affected gamers can log into the Support Site and subscribe to it, which will get them a notification email of when there's an update available.

You can see the quality differences between the two in the video above, which is from "ElAnalistaDeBits" on YouTube. The differences aren't huge, but are certainly notable, showing the change from 1.00 to 1.08.
