Eye-fi gets Twitter

Eye-fi is already a well known product. Their SD card already has an added geotracking function that makes it so you can automatically associate any pictures taken and then put on the card with the location they were taken in.

But now they've added another function that makes it even easier to upload photos just moments after they are taken. Enter the added Twitter and Flickr features. Now, you can upload your images from the card directly to these sites. Plus, you can even use the card to create an RSS feed of your images.

This is surely convenient, but you can't help but wonder if these are exactly good conveniences. Isn't it sometimes a good idea to make people complete a step or two before uploading pictures? The YouTube Read Aloud Comment feature is what comes to mind here. Isn't it sometimes good to wait before you post?
