Everex gPC on sale at Walmart for $200 - Comes with Ubuntu preinstalled

We've slowly seen a trend in the PC market with companies selling computers that aren't loaded with Windows. Yes, I know that Macs don't come with Windows, but I'm talking about PCs preinstalled with Linux. Walmart has just gotten the exclusive on a new Everex PC that sports a version of Ubuntu that might be worth looking into.

Before you get too skeptical, this machine is not meant for people wanting to play the latest games, or working with power-hungry software. This is what is being called a "green" PC. That's to say that it uses very little power, while still giving you  a great overall experience.

The Everex gPC is powered by a 1.5Ghz VIA C7 CPU which is embedded in a mini-ITX board. It's a bit amusing to know that this huge case houses a tiny mini-ITX board, but apparently people equate the size of the PC with the power, and they wouldn't buy it if the case were as small as it could be. You also get 512MB of RAM, 80GB of hard drive space and a DVD burner. It comes preloaded with Google's online Applications linked on the desktop, as well as a copy of Open Office. All of this can be yours for just $200 smackeroos.
