It's a little strange, but far better than having the actual pet stuffed to keep forever.

To use the service you need to send in pictures of your pet. You can get replicas of dogs, cats, rabbits, and other animals made. The company wants as many images as you have so they can get all the details of your pet for the stuffed toy.

If the image here is any indication of the quality of work they do, the stuffed toy is a virtual dead ringer for the real pet. I can see kids who love their pet and love stuffed animals wanting one of these even if the pet is still alive.

If you have a very aloof cat that doesn't want much to do with you, this may be the only way you get to pet it whenever you want.
